At What Works Scotland, we support several PhD researchers studying public sector reform. Kirsty Deacon is one of them and here she writes about her experience of undertaking an internship at the Scottish Government.

She researched u.lab – an online course for developing skills around collaboration and co-production. u.lab isn’t a new approach, but participants found it allowed them to have different and better conversations with little-heard voices and it gave them the courage and support to try doing things differently.
