Karen Seditas left What Works Scotland in December 2016.
Karen Seditas was the lead on the What Works Scotland Evidence Bank.
Karen was based at the Centre for Research on Families and Relationships (CRFR) where she devises and leads projects and collaborations to develop innovative ways of enabling and supporting evidence-informed practice and policy.
Through partnership projects with third and public sector organisations, she led the development of the Evidence Bank model – a knowledge service which supports evidence into action – which she is further developing with What Works Scotland partners.
Karen has over 15 years’ experience as a senior manager and programme director within the not-for profit sector.
Before joining CRFR she was Head of Programme and Practice Development with Children in Scotland, an umbrella body representing children’s services organisations and individuals across the voluntary, private and public sectors, where her responsibilities included leading programme development and strategic and operational planning.
