This workshop, organised by the What Works Centre for Wellbeing community evidence programme. explored how wellbeing evidence can be useful in the day-to-day work of those working in devolved government, as well as organisations developing and advocating for policy ideas.

It focused on policy areas related to place and community, including:

  • planning
  • housing
  • built environment
  • social capital
  • participation
  • public health
  • green space
  • transport
  • community development.

The focus for the What Works Centre for Wellbeing is based on this stakeholder engagement, so this workshop was an important early opportunity to influence the Centre’s work.
