In this blog, Dr Hayley Bennett and Dr Richard Brunner share insights on the role of professional researchers in collaborative, participatory and action research approaches.
Since 2015, What Works Scotland has been creating, adapting and co-producing collaborative action research (CAR) activities with various public service professionals across Scotland. Within academia and across public services, collaborative working to improve evidence use is an increasingly popular expectation.
The blog examines our experiences and activities to help shape future collaborative programmes, and puts forward recommendations for those thinking about initiating CAR processes.
